Greetings to all of our members, new and current. Welcome to the Shippensburg Anime Society! We watch newly released anime shows as well as older ones. We have three different meeting times which take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. If you can't show up to certain meetings, feel free to show up to the others. And if you need to leave early, or you show up late, don't worry you'll always be welcome!

The first meeting of the week is what a lot of us refer to as Main Club. This takes place every Tuesday from 7:00pm until around 10:30pm in Grove Hall Forum. For those of you unfamiliar with it, the building is the main building for business majors. We show 4 shows, usually 2 episodes of each, that range in different genres with a 15 minute break in between the 2nd and 3rd slots. Any major announcements will also be said here as well as on our Facebook page.

On Thursdays, we have what we call Anime Underground or just Underground for short. We show 3 shows in the same way as main club, but it takes place in the CUB at the TV lounge on the top floor next to The Slate office. Underground is a lot more lenient with talking and some of its content, so we tend to just hang out there and joke around while the series are playing. This takes place around 7:00pm to 9:30pm.

Last but not least we've got Anime Arcade. This takes place on Fridays from 6:00pm to around 10:00pm, and is also located in the CUB where Underground is held. We play anime related games, such as visual novels, where we all read for the characters which is a lot of fun and gets everyone involved. If you join during the middle of a game, don't worry, we'll fill you in on any plot points you missed.

The Concert Choir is a group of 40-50 singers chosen through audition who desire to further the arts of choral singing, hone their musicianship, form lifelong friendships with others who enjoy music, and to represent the university through several concerts during the year. The choir performs an annual fall concert in November and a spring concert in April, and each year they go on tour. In 2019, the Concert Choir enjoyed a very successful international tour in Ireland. Additionally, the choir has been invited to perform for many on campus events, including two presidential inaugurations at Shippensburg.

​In-Motion Dance Troupe is an organization dedicated to the broadening of interest and education in dance at Shippensburg University. Given that mission, members of the group engage in a variety of dance techniques, explore new dance styles, and cultivate ability in both performance as well as choreography. Although there is a focus on the hip-hop, jazz, and lyrical styles of dance, members are encouraged to explore the full art of dance by practicing a variety of styles and engaging in training opportunities designed to expand their appreciation for dance. Members demonstrate their abilities by participating in multiple competitions, recitals, performances, and dance-related service activities throughout the school year. The Shippensburg Men's Volleyball Club competes against other school clubs all over PA (and even some out of state). The goal of the club is to represent the university by building a strong team that works together to be as competitive as we can at tournaments.

This club differs from Shippensburg's intramural league in that we are more competitive. As a result, the best players on the team are the ones that will see the most match court time. That said, practices are usually two or three times a week so there's plenty of opportunity for newer players to grow and fulfill their potential. While we do not have a coach, our practices traditionally have a supportive yet competitive environment that fosters our players' growth. We try to coach each other as much as possible so that we can improve together as a team.

Raider Regional Transit (RRT) is a local bus system serving the Shippensburg University and the Shippensburg community.

The RRT provides service Monday through Saturday during the university's regular academic year and on Tuesdays and Thursday's (Modified Schedule) during the summer and fall, spring and holiday breaks. Service is provided around campus, and the Shippensburg community. Riders may go to local shopping areas as well as the regional Chambersburg Square.
