Women Business Leaders

Become part of our vibrant community.

About Us

To the fearless young ladies willing to hope and persevere, to face uncertainty and cope with scarcity, to embrace imperfections with the nectar of self-compassion, I present to you, the Women Leaders of the College of Business. In Fall 2018 we founded the Raider Ready Professional Dress Closet with the help of the Career Center. In Spring 2019 our community service has expanded and we partnered with the Shippensburg Produce Outreach (SPO), where we collect personal hygiene products. Lastly, we are partnered with the Network of Executive Women (NEW). This program provides us mentors that are working in a field similar to our majors and allows us to gain job shadows, resume builders, team building, job opportunities, and so much more.

Events & Activities

We host on campus and off campus events. Most of our events include volunteer work with Shippensburg Produce Outreach and supporting the College of Business.

Exclusive Resources

We offer one of the best resources on campus. The Raider Ready Professional Dress Closet is something that we are extremely proud of and is located at the Career Center CUB 108. This closet is designed to give students access to business attire to better prepare them for interviews, job fairs, and class presentations! All business wear is free to Ship students! Everything is donated by the local Ship community and faculty.

Gain connections by becoming a member of our mentoring program. We partner with Network of Executive Women and this allows members to gain hands-on experience from professionals outside of the University.
