The Shippensburg University "Red Raider" Marching Band is comprised of over 160 students from a variety of majors, making us the largest student organization on campus. Because Shippensburg does not have a music major, we all gather on the field for the love of music! The SUMB performs at all home football games, several away games, various high school exhibitions, and the annual Collegiate Marching Band Festival in Allentown. Membership is open to wind and percussion musicians, as well as Color Guard and Majorettes.
